Hidden Valley Eye Care, a growing family practice in Draper, UT, is seeking a full-time Optician to support our doctor and work closely with patients. Competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

Use Electronic Medical Records to record exams, materials, etc.
Pre-test patients
Assist patients in selecting frames and provide spectacle lens packages/quotes
Take measurements to ensure correct lens fabrication
Teach new contact lens wearers insertion and removal techniques
Order and dispense contact lenses and spectacles
Adjust frames
Schedule appointments
Verify vision insurance and submit claims
Tag new inventory
Perform light cleaning
Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications

Strong multi-tasking skills
Customer service oriented
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
ABO certification and optical experience are a plus but not required
