As a Data Architect, you’ll be part of our expert team, designing and developing modern, scalable data solutions in exciting client projects - leveraging the best of Microsoft’s technologies like Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. Whether your passion lies in solution design, technical architecture, or both - you’ll find space to influence, grow, and thrive at Norrin. ### In this role, you will Design and develop data platforms and integrations Define data models and architectural structures Ensure solution-level data security and governance Plan deployment and continuous development together with clients and development teams ### We’re looking for experience in Azure data platforms (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, SQL, Data Factory) Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks Programming skills (PySpark, SQL), version control, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) Knowledge of data modeling approaches (dimensional, lakehouse, medallion) Understanding of data governance practices Basic proficiency in Power BI Experience building data solutions in large enterprise environments Familiarity with Azure security, networking, and access management principles Competence using AI tools in your own work, with judgment about where they help and where they don't Fluent skills in both Finnish and English ### Nice to have Understanding of the data needs of generative AI, RAG solutions, and AI agents, and the ability to design and model data products suited for AI use Ability to develop your team’s AI tools and practices, with judgment about where they help and where they don’t Depending on the focus of your role, we also value expertise in the following areas: Solution architecture Experience modeling business-driven data requirements Understanding of data quality and governance Designing data-driven decision-making solutions DBT expertise Certifications like DP-600 or DP-700 Platform architecture In-depth knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Fabric architecture Experience with data security, networking models, and access control Ability to align solutions with client IT environments Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) Certifications like DP-600 or DP-700 ### Why Norrin?
