Eight Advisory was founded in 2009 in France by 8 former partners of Arthur Andersen / Big4 companies as a firm specialized in Transaction Services, Restructuring, and Transformation. Today, Eight Advisory has grown to 1,000+ employees (including 123 partners) in 15 offices in France, the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, USA (New York), Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Together with the Eight International Network, counting over 3,600 employees in more than 30 countries, we respond to a growing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium- and large-sized corporates, and investment banks.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Project Finance & Infrastructure team in Hamburg as an Intern from April 2027 (3-6 months). As part of our collaborative and international team, you will work on real transactions in the infrastructure, energy and renewables sectors - not just as a spectator, but as a valued contributor.

As an Intern, you will:

Support financial and transaction advisory projects for national and international clients: project developers, private equity firms, and infrastructure funds

Learn the fundamentals of financial modelling, financial engineering, M&A and debt structuring through our learning-by-doing approach

Work closely with experienced team members and benefit from a dedicated mentor for personal and professional guidance

Contribute to deals that support the transition to sustainable infrastructure

Get a head start: Outstanding interns may receive an offer to join us permanently after graduation

Requirements

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect the following from our future intern:

You are currently pursuing a master’s degree, ideally in finance, business, economics or related fields

You are motivated, proactive, and reliable

You are curious about financial modelling

Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting; German GAAP is a plus

Fluent in German and English

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience with tools like Power BI or Power Query is a plus

Available for a minimum of 3 months

What you can expect:

A steep learning curve with real exposure to deals from day one

A supportive, collaborative team that values your input

Direct mentorship and structured feedback to help you grow

The chance to turn your internship into a job offer - we invest in your talent
