## Description (the employer's text)

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear, shapewear, and essentials. We are setting new standards by delivering technically innovative, comfort-driven products with elevated design for everybody.

At the intersection of culture, innovation, and commerce, SKIMS is a global brand redefining modern apparel. Our teams are built on creativity, collaboration, and operational excellence, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, high-performance environment where ambitious, curious, and values-driven individuals can do the best work of their careers.

As we continue to scale globally, our HQ teams play a critical role in shaping strategy, building world-class infrastructure, and driving sustainable growth across markets.

The Goal

Convert near-term, data-validated demand into relevant and profitable product on an accelerated, season-agnostic calendar — without compromising brand standards or disrupting the core business.

The Why

Our master product calendar is built for scale, margin, and brand consistency. By design, it commits to assortments quarters ahead of the customer. That leaves a gap: demand signals we can see today — in search, social, site behavior, and early sell-through — that will have peaked by the time the main calendar can respond.

The Fast Track function exists to capture that demand. It runs on its own decoupled track, with the mandate to take a validated signal to a sellable product for SKIMS in weeks, not months, and to read, react, and reorder in days.

The Director owns this end to end: the signal, the decision, the product point of view, the business case, the margin, the delivery, and the result. At launch this is a hands-on, player-coach role. You will be in the fit room and in the costing sheet, not just in the final review meeting.

### Responsibilities

- Establish the fast-track function in partnership with Design, Merchandising, Planning and Supply Chain leadership
- Translate consumer, trend and selling signals into clear product opportunities, using strong product judgment to determine what is relevant, brand-right and commercially meaningful.
- Bring a strong product performance lens to test-and-react decisions, including initial depth, chase potential, product productivity and when to scale, evolve or exit.
- Feed product and consumer learnings back into the broader assortment strategy, identifying opportunities that can inform future categories, franchises and seasonal direction.
- Hire a multi-skilled & entrepreneurial team of end-to-end product developers and trend/data analysts
- Own the fast-track P&L: revenue, OTB, gross margin, inventory productivity, and chase effectiveness.
- Guide the trend/data analysts to build and run the fast-track signal stack: social velocity, search trends, competitor drops, site search and PDP behavior, early sell-through, and customer feedback.
- Define the test protocol: product opportunity, initial buy depth, read window, reorder trigger, and chase capacity.
- Feed learnings back into the core calendar: what sold, which signals predicted demand, which fabrics & silhouettes performed.
- Evaluate existing vendor capabilities for fast-track product creation and ability to leverage existing vendor base
- Introduce new vendors (offshore/nearshore/domestic) for fast-track product creation where appropriate
- Build a dedicated vendor onboarding process with Compliance so that new vendors can be production-ready quickly.
- Maintain a pre-approved Fast Track fabric and trim library and standard fit blocks so that every style does not start from zero.
### Skills

- 10+ years in a fashion/apparel business, with meaningful time in at least two of: merchandising/buying, product development, sourcing/production.
- Direct experience running test-and-react or small-batch, read-and-reorder models
- Knowledgeable in leveraging data/trend insights to inform product creation
- Strong product and consumer instincts, with the ability to connect trend, market and behavioral signals to compelling product opportunities.
- Product assortment fluency with an understanding of assortment architecture, price/value, product lifecycle and category performance
- Hands-on fluency with sourcing, costing and vendor negotiation.
- Comfort making decisions on partial data, documenting the call, and being accountable for the outcome.
- Strong cross-functional operator
