## Description (the employer's text)

This is your chance to combine technical curiosity with clear communication. You’ll help turn complex concepts into developer-friendly guides, support internal systems, and contribute to real IT projects – all while building skills that set you apart in both tech and communication fields.

We’re looking for a motivated Student Assistant to support our technology team with documentation, system support, and project tasks. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, work with modern tools, and collaborate with developers to create clear, developer-friendly API documentation that helps other teams integrate seamlessly with our systems. This is a part-time position (15–20 hours per week) with flexibility and support during exam periods – ideal for balancing work and studies.

### Responsibilities

- Document Technical Processes: collaborate with developers and IT staff to capture and maintain accurate documentation of APIs, workflows, and system processes.
- Create Developer-Friendly API Content: write and maintain guides, code samples, and reference materials that help internal and external teams understand and use our APIs.
- Maintain Technical Resources: organize and update content across knowledge bases, developer portals, and system documentation repositories.
- Ensure Clarity and Consistency: edit and review technical documentation to ensure it's clear, consistent, and easy to navigate using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, Markdown, and Postman.
- Improve Documentation Workflows: help define and support version control and maintenance processes across the API landscape
- Assist With Testing and Research: support the team by testing tools and features, researching best practices, and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Contribute to Small-Scale IT Projects: assist in tasks such as software updates, basic data analysis, system integrations, and internal automation efforts.
- Provide Coordination and Admin Support: help schedule meetings, track tasks, and manage documentation-related project timelines.
- Work on a Flexible Schedule: typically 15–20 hours per week, with understanding and support during exam periods.
- Gain Exposure to Real-World IT Operations: observe and contribute to how a professional technology team works within agile environments and cross-functional projects.
### Skills

- Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of APIs, REST, JSON, or similar technical concepts.
- Experience or strong interest in project coordination or supporting project management activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman) is a plus.
- Curious and proactive approach to learning, troubleshooting, and improving processes.
- Ability to work well with developers, IT staff, and other team members in a collaborative environment.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance workload alongside your studies.
