Your Tasks

Platform Design: Architect and manage the end-to-end Databricks environment, including Unity Catalog, workspaces, and networking.
Data Strategy: Define and implement the Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and cross-domain data modeling.
Pipeline Excellence: Lead the design of scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows.
Governance & Security: Establish enterprise-wide standards for data quality, lineage, access control, and compliance.
Optimization: Drive "FinOps" initiatives by tuning query performance and optimizing cluster/storage costs.

What do we expect from you?

Technical Requirements

The Databricks Stack: 3–5+ years of deep expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
Core Languages: Expert-level Python/PySpark and Advanced SQL.
Modelling Mastery: Proven experience in designing medallion architectures lake house schemas and familiarity with dimensional data models.
DataOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Databricks Asset Bundles).
Integrations: Hands-on experience with batch and real-time streaming.
Expertise in designing, setting up and administering platforms with any of the hyperscale's, Azure preferred
Familiarity with network and security topics (firewalls, VPNs, private links, etc.)

Leadership & Strategy

Technical Roadmap: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and long-term platform roadmaps.
Collaboration: Proven track record of working as the "bridge" between Data Engineers, Analysts, and C-suite stakeholders.
Best Practices: Passion for mentoring teams on clean code, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.
