What you can expect

Independently drafting and managing patent applications
Processing and responding to examination notices from national and international patent offices
Direct communication with clients, as well as providing personalized advice and representing their interests
Representing clients in opposition and appeal proceedings, including oral hearings
Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions on the state of the art and the infringement of intellectual property rights
Participating in complex patent infringement and patent invalidity proceedings

What sets you apart

Excellent college degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or a comparable technical or natural science field of study
Admission as a German and/or European patent attorney
Early-career attorney with a strong commitment to the field and an interest in current technical developments
Ability to apply technical knowledge in a targeted and practical manner for our clients
A team-oriented approach to work and a passion for successful collaboration
A confident and engaging demeanor
Quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
The ability to accurately grasp complex technical and legal issues and present them clearly and persuasively
Excellent written and spoken English skills, ideally acquired through a stay abroad
Good German skills are desirable
