Act as the primary operational risk enablement partner for regional business leaders, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, compliance teams, Internal Audit, and other functions across the three lines of defense.

Adapt and implement enterprise risk management frameworks, methodologies, Key Risk Indicator (KRI) standards, taxonomies, and reporting tools to meet regional regulatory, linguistic, currency, and business-specific requirements while maintaining enterprise-wide consistency.

Lead and coordinate regional risk enablement activities, including Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs), KRI development, incident reporting, scenario analysis, and remediation planning. Coach first-line practitioners to develop the capabilities needed to manage risks independently.

Oversee the regional control program, ensuring consistent implementation of enterprise control standards, monitoring practices, control testing, and effectiveness assessments. Track control gaps and remediation initiatives while coordinating assurance activities with Internal Audit and compliance teams.

Strengthen regional risk management capabilities by coordinating training programs, practitioner communities, knowledge-sharing sessions, and regional roundtables. Promote operational risk awareness and support enterprise-wide change initiatives.

Monitor regulatory developments, emerging risks, and significant incidents across assigned regions. Escalate relevant developments to enterprise leadership and specialist Centers of Excellence (CoEs), ensuring timely assessment and appropriate follow-up.

Ensure regional risk data is accurate, reliable, and integrated into enterprise reporting processes. Provide regional insights and analysis to support executive briefings, Board Risk Committee discussions, and other governance forums.

Support regional risk quantification activities, including scenario analysis and loss modeling, in collaboration with specialist enterprise teams.

Represent regional business needs in enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform decisions, encouraging effective adoption and utilization of risk management technologies and tools.
