Role
We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Consultant – Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) to join our team. This is a Remote (PST/MST) role reporting to the Manager, Professional Services (West) in the Professional Services department. Sitting at the intersection of strategic enterprise consulting and forward-deployed engineering, you will serve as the primary technical authority and end-to-end delivery owner for enterprise DSPM customers. In this role, you will architect, deploy, and optimize DSPM solutions alongside the broader Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform to eliminate cloud data risks, enforce AI governance, and build resilient modern data architectures.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Serve as the primary technical delivery owner across the customer lifecycle, leading multi-cloud, hybrid, and regulated DSPM architecture and Zero Trust ecosystem deployments
- Configure and optimize cloud and on-premises data connectors across AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and enterprise repositories
- Customize data classification pipelines, Data Firewall policy engines, and sensitive data discovery workflows to drive measurable risk reduction
- Implement enterprise identity, access, and governance controls including SSO/SAML, SCIM, RBAC, minimal-permission service accounts, and cloud IAM integrations
- Diagnose complex customer deployment challenges and partner directly with Core Engineering and Product Management to influence platform capabilities and pre-sales evaluations
- Integrate Across the Zero Trust Ecosystem: Architect and integrate DSPM capabilities alongside ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and the broader Zero Trust Exchange across complex enterprise environments, including AI-driven workload and GenAI pipeline scenarios
Who You Are (Success Profile)
- You thrive in dynamic environments, navigating technical ambiguity with ease and treating complex architectures as raw material to build high-impact customer solutions.
- You operate with an ownership mindset, moving seamlessly between executive-level architectural strategy and hands-on production troubleshooting to guarantee customer outcomes.
- You are a relentless problem-solver who actively tackles complex technical barriers, from untangling cross-cloud IAM permission chains to resolving connector-level defects.
- You are a high-trust collaborator who partners across customer teams, Sales, and Core Engineering with directness, transparency, and mutual respect.
- You maintain an active growth mindset, continuously expanding your technical depth across evolving cloud data platforms, security paradigms, and enterprise AI adoption.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical delivery roles such as Professional Services, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Security/Cloud Architecture Consulting for enterprise accounts
- Hands-on technical experience deploying data security or cloud solutions across major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, SQL/NoSQL, SharePoint, or SMB)
