### Responsibilities

- Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling process, and culture.
- Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions.
- Make appropriate tradeoffs between reliability throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering, velocity and cost.
- Innovate, design, and implement software solutions that contribute toward improvement in infrastructure, resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
- Uphold the company’s high engineering standards and improve the overall codebase and processes.
### Who you are

### Minimum requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus two (2) years of work experience in software development.

Must also have two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

- Designing and deploying scalable infrastructure within major public cloud environments, specifically using AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Cloud-native networking, compute instances (EC2), and storage solutions to support global, high-availability financial services;
- Developing software in Go and Ruby to build and maintain robust distributed systems and internal tooling;
- Writing clean, maintainable code to automate infrastructure management and develop the core services that power microservice architecture;
- Kubernetes and containerization technologies to manage large-scale server fleets and microservices;
- Designing orchestration strategies that ensure system reliability, efficient resource allocation and seamless deployments across a distributed environment; and
- Designing, building, and debugging high-scale distributed systems using open-source tools, analyzing complex system architectures, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven optimizations that improve latency, resiliency, and cost-performance ratios.
Salary: $156,800 - $235,200/yr.

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

50% Telecommuting permitted.
