With innovation, quality and logistics as the backbone of the company, Sourceability’s cutting-edge products and services expedite the procurement process across a wide range of industries, including communications/cellular, consumer electronics, and auto manufacturing.

We are looking for a dynamic QEHS / QC Manager to become a vital part of our Quality team, working in-office across our North America operations, based at our distribution center in Austin, TX. Join the energy and come be part of the momentum!

This is an amazing opportunity to get involved! As QEHS / QC Manager, you will lead our North America Quality Control team and serve as technical lead on counterfeit electronic component detection and disposition, while also driving our Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) management system locally. Reporting to the Global Quality Director, you will protect our customers from nonconforming and suspected counterfeit material while strengthening audit readiness, environmental management, and workplace safety across North America.

Our goal is to have a sophisticated team equipped with expert technical skills in addition to keen business acumen. Each member of our team adds unique value to the business and the customer. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry.

Insight on your impact

  • Lead and develop the North America QC team, including staffing, training, workload planning, inspection priorities, performance feedback, and technical coaching.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, customer-specific, and final inspections, ensuring inspectors correctly apply IDEA-STD-1010B, AS6081 protocols, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Serve as the technical lead for the Material Review Board (MRB), evaluating suspected counterfeit or nonconforming material, documenting findings, and coordinating disposition.
  • Review inspection reports for accuracy and completeness, and coordinate advanced testing with qualified external laboratories when needed.
  • Maintain effective QEHS processes for North America operations, including developing procedures and training, assessing risks, and leading corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support ISO 14001 environmental management requirements, workplace health and safety programs, and ESG activities, including awareness, performance tracking, and improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and support internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits, maintaining quality records and working with process owners to resolve findings.
  • Oversee inspection equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and ESD controls.
  • Define and monitor meaningful quality metrics, using inspection results, customer feedback, and statistical data to drive measurable improvements in quality, service, and operational performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Sourcing, Sales, and other teams to resolve quality issues and align North America practices with the global QEHS system.
  • Oversee customer complaints, nonconformances, returns, and escalations, ensuring effective containment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) that prevent recurrence.
