Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking a Material Planner who will report to the Supply Chain Manager on the Operations – Supply Chain team. The successful individual in this role is responsible for coordinating material availability to support production schedules and meet customer requirements and On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals. This role works cross-functionally with the Supply Chain, Production, Shipping, Quality and Sales teams to ensure timely visibility of material availability, delivery risks, and track order fulfillment status. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted operations and customer commitments.

This position is based at Silvus Technologies’ Warehouse in the heart of vibrant Culver City, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule. A minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with internal teams including production, planning, purchasing, logistics, and customer service to ensure material availability aligns with customer demand and production schedules.

Track incoming shipments and proactively follow up on delayed or at-risk deliveries with buyers, suppliers, and freight carriers.

Monitor material requirements and inventory levels to minimize production disruptions and support On-Time Delivery (OTD).
