- Act as SPOC for AFCO SMEs with regard to the SAR review and investigation review process.
- Active management and ownership of the BAU MLRO queues.
- Provide ongoing and ad-hoc support on AML and CTF queries (both from internal and external stakeholders).
- Assist the French MLRO and (co-)decision-taking in the following areas: SAR, RFI, PEP, EDD and CRR.
- Assist with the identification, evaluation, monitoring and mitigation of operational risks with respect to AML and CTF processes and proactively suggest improvements.
- Support the French MLRO in steering AML and CTF BAU requirements and regulatory imposed projects.
- Support the French MLRO in reporting to the Management Board, Supervisory Board and national competent authorities.
- Ensure strategic cohesion of AFC strategy with N26 strategy.
- Support the business to understand and address AML and CTF risk.
- Devise and review relevant training to AFCO, business and its partners.
- Review Marketing materials to ensure compliance with AML and CTF requirements.
What you need to be successful:

Background:

- Graduated in law (Ecole de droit/Master II) or from a Grande Ecole - or alike.
- Professional experience gained in anti-financial crime, with at least 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in operational functions, including investigation, and SAR drafting but also transaction monitoring, sanctions and adverse media screening
