About the Role

As a Content Strategist, Amazon & Marketplace, you'll own product content for our commerce clients on Amazon. You will plan what gets worked on and when, write and optimize the content, get it published in Seller Central and Vendor Central, and report on what it did for the client's search rank, traffic and conversion.

This is a hands-on role. You will work inside our existing process and tools, alongside account managers, ad managers, an offshore publishing team and the client directly. The goal of every listing is the same: help more shoppers find the product, help more of them convert, and set accurate expectations so the brand earns fewer returns and negative reviews.

This position is offered as an initial three-month contract, with a potential for extension.

Responsibilities

  • Plan
  • Join internal and client onboarding calls to understand priorities, scope, Brand Registry status and the client's in-house content resources.
  • Run Content Gap Analyses from Pacvue Commerce exports to find missing or weak titles, bullets, descriptions, images and A+ Content across hero and secondary ASINs.
  • Build and present a Content Calendar that prioritizes batches by revenue, ad focus, promotions, launches and seasonality, and keep it current through QBRs.
  • Create
  • Research each product, brand, competitor set and shopper profile, including Brand Analytics demographics and Amazon policy for compliance-heavy categories (baby, pet, supplements, health).
  • Run customer review analysis on the client's and competitors' reviews to surface what shoppers value and what they complain about.
  • Do keyword research in Helium 10 (Cerebro) and write titles, bullets, descriptions and backend search terms using Monks' AI listing tools, then edit every output for accuracy, brand voice, SEO, readability and Amazon compliance. No unsupported claims.
  • Peer QA colleagues' work, manage client review (two rounds of revision) and defend recommendations with search volume data when a client edit works against best practice.
  • Share approved keyword research with the ad manager so paid and organic work from the same keyword set.
  • Publish
  • Prepare and submit flat-file uploads in Seller Central and Vendor Central, using partial updates and verifying list price and cost on every VC upload.
  • Troubleshoot rejected or stalled content: read processing summaries, fix errors, and open and chase Seller Central, Vendor Central and Brand Registry cases until the content goes live.
  • Report
  • Capture before-and-after PDP screenshots and report impact 60 days after publication: page 1 and above-the-fold keyword placements, organic rank, glance views or sessions, and conversion rate.
  • Build the content section of QBRs and, for larger clients, content evaluation and opportunity decks with category market share and competitor benchmarks. Join sales calls when asked to speak to our content approach.

About You

The essentials

  • 3+ years of hands-on Amazon content and SEO work at an agency, brand or marketplace service provider.
  • Working fluency in Seller Central and Vendor Central: flat files, browse nodes, ATS title formatting, processing errors and case management.
  • Experience with Helium 10 (Cerebro, Scribbles, Frankenstein), Pacvue Commerce and Amazon Brand Analytics. Experience with retail analytics platforms for rank and market share reporting is a plus.
  • Strong copywriting that balances keyword coverage against readability, plus a sharp editor's eye for AI-generated copy that sounds right but is not.
  • Comfortable in Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, LEN, conditional formatting) and Asana.
