Oracle Cloud ERP Environment Manager
At i360technologies, we deliver business consulting and technology solutions that support the mission of federal agencies. A major federal agency is consolidating its core financial management systems into a single, multi-tenant Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solution as part of the government-wide push to standardize federal financial management. The program will migrate multiple agency components and customer agencies onto the new platform, with a stated goal of making maximum use of automation and artificial intelligence to reduce manual workload, speed reconciliation and improve data quality.
i360technologies supports this program as a subcontractor to a large federal systems integrator. We are seeking an Oracle Environment Manager who will own the Oracle Fusion Cloud environments that every team depends on: availability, release schedules, refreshes, configuration migrations, deployments, integration dependencies, and production readiness. This is not a traditional DBA role. It's for a senior professional who keeps a complex implementation running on schedule and wants to grow with a program for years.
Location: Washington, DC Metro, on-site at client facilities; occasional travel to other client locations
The Role at a Glance
This position has three equally important parts:
- Oracle Environment Manager — Plan, control and maintain the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environment landscape that supports implementation, testing, data conversion, training and production.
- i360 Program Lead — Act as i360’s point person on the program: lead, support and advocate for every i360 team member, and serve as i360’s day-to-day liaison with the prime contractor’s program leadership.
- AI & Growth Leader — Bring practical AI expertise to the modernization and recognize new staffing needs early so i360 can propose qualified people through the prime contractor.
Responsibilities
Oracle Cloud ERP Environment Management
- Own the inventory, purpose and lifecycle of all Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environments (production, test, development, conversion, training and mock-cutover) and associated OCI / PaaS services.
- Maintain the environment calendar; schedule and coordinate environment refreshes (production-to-test, test-to-test), cloning and environment requests with Oracle and the prime contractor.
- Plan for Oracle’s quarterly SaaS updates: review release readiness content, coordinate impact analysis and regression testing, and manage update windows with minimal disruption to project and agency activities.
- Manage configuration migration between environments using Functional Setup Manager (setup data export/import and configuration packages), with traceability to approved change requests.
- Coordinate the technical extension landscape, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder, OTBI / BI Publisher and Fusion Data Intelligence, and integrations with government-wide financial payment and reporting systems.
- Administer and audit user and role provisioning in non-production environments; enforce segregation-of-duties controls and client security rules of behavior.
- Support FedRAMP continuous monitoring, client agency security requirements, audit requests and POA&M remediation as they relate to environments.
- Open, track and escalate Oracle Support service requests; maintain environment documentation, runbooks and status dashboards.
- Support data conversion cycles, mock conversions and cutover rehearsals for initial and additional operating capability (IOC / AOC) implementations and agency migrations.
- Contribute to architecture decisions to support present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces, consistent with the Technical Architect 1 labor category.
AI and System Modernization
- Serve as a resource on Oracle’s embedded AI capabilities in Fusion Cloud ERP — including generative AI features, AI agents built with Oracle AI Agent Studio, intelligent document recognition for payables and expenses, and predictive and anomaly-detection features — and advise on where they can be adopted.
