As a Senior Solutions Architect, you are an expert-level technical leader responsible for the organisation's most complex customer engagements. You drive consumption strategy, own executive-level relationships, and serve as the definitive technical authority for your accounts. This role will report to a Field Engineering Manager in the Emerging Enterprises team. ### The impact you will have - Drive the technical and consumption strategy in partnership with Account Executives for Startup & Digital Native customers in the Nordics region, directly influencing platform adoption and revenue growth. - You will influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the broader cloud ecosystem and 3rd-party applications, ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solution strategy. - Be a 'champion’ for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence platform. - Lead the most complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, enterprise-wide migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale. - Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through customer-facing content, workshops, and community engagement - Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritisation and on building technical champions. ### What we look for (Note: it is not expected that you “tick every box” below and encourage you to apply if you are meeting several of the expected criteria and can demonstrate a strong ability to transfer skills and develop quickly in the role!) - 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role - A strong "AI-Builder" mindset; Expert-level coding proficiency — Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark.
