About CookUnity

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

About the Team

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

The role

We're looking for an Organic Social Creator. A senior-level operator and ambitious individual contributor who has already done the hard thing: built an audience from nothing, earned attention without a media budget, and has deep, proven conviction in what makes people stop scrolling.

This is not a strategist who hands off briefs to a team. This is not a creative director who develops other people's on-camera presence. This is the person who is the presence — someone as comfortable pitching a concept on a Monday as they are shooting it themselves Tuesday, editing it Tuesday night, and watching it take off Wednesday.

We're not looking for incremental improvement to our Instagram engagement. We're looking for the person who will make CookUnity impossible to ignore — a brand that shows up in food culture the way elite creators and challenger brands have shown up in theirs: fast, opinionated, everywhere at once, and impossible to fake. If we handed over the keys to our social presence tomorrow — no committee, no six-week approval chain — this person would know exactly what to do next.

This role exists because "safe" has a ceiling, and we need someone who sees that ceiling as an insult.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account like it's your own following. Full creative and executional control over the CookUnity handle, treated with the instinct and urgency of building a personal/lifestyle brand, not managing a corporate handle.
  • Produce end-to-end. Concept, shoot, edit, caption, post, iterate — without waiting on agencies, freelancers, or a production. Bring your own eye and your own hands to the work.
  • Build for virality, not just visibility. Develop repeatable formats and franchises designed to break containment — content built to be shared, remixed, and talked about outside our own follower base, not just liked by it.
  • Live inside culture, not adjacent to it. Track trends, sounds, formats, and conversations in real time across food, entertainment, and internet culture, and move fast enough to insert CookUnity into the moment while it's still the moment, not days after it's over.
  • Turn data into instinct, and instinct into data. Use platform analytics and audience signals to know what's working and why, then use that same fluency to make fast creative calls without unnecessary delays and bureaucracy.
  • Develop scalable content systems. Design formats and franchises that can eventually be run, replicated, or handed off, even though you're the one proving them out solo in year one.
  • Champion and develop on-camera talent when it serves the bigger goal — including CookUnity's chefs — but as an amplifier of your strategy, not the sole engine of it.
  • Represent the brand's voice and point of view publicly, with the authority and judgment to make real-time calls on tone, timing, and risk.
