About Comfrt
Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer apparel brands, redefining what comfort means through elevated essentials designed for everyday life. Our mission goes beyond clothing—we are building a global community centered around comfort, confidence, mental wellness, and inclusivity.
About the Role
As Comfrt continues to expand across retail, wholesale, and experiential channels, we are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Senior Director of Retail Marketing to lead our physical brand experience.
This role will own the strategy and execution of Comfrt’s retail marketing ecosystem, including store launches, retail experiences, wholesale partnerships, local market activations, and customer engagement initiatives. Working cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and Growth teams, you will develop scalable retail marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, drive traffic and revenue, and support Comfrt’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute Comfrt’s retail marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall brand and business objectives.
Translate seasonal campaigns, product launches, and curated brand moments into impactful retail experiences across new stores, pop-ups, and future retail formats.
Establish scalable retail marketing frameworks, playbooks, and brand standards that ensure consistency across all physical touchpoints.
Partner with cross-functional teams to create integrated omnichannel campaigns that connect physical and digital customer experiences.
Lead full funnel marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales for retail stores - including localized digital and paid media campaigns, in store and community events, influencer and creator partnerships, and affiliate programs - in partnership with the Growth, Social, and CRM teams.
Store Openings & Market Expansion
Lead marketing strategy for new store openings from pre-launch to build hype and excitement with the local community through to post-opening, including local marketing, community engagement, partnerships, and customer acquisition.
Develop repeatable launch playbooks to support future retail expansion into 2027.
Identify opportunities to drive awareness, traffic, and customer engagement in new and existing retail locations.
Retail Partnerships & Market Development
Serve as Comfrt’s primary marketing partner for wholesale accounts, landlords, mall operators, and retail property management teams.
Build strong relationships with retail partners to maximize brand visibility, drive local marketing opportunities, and support commercial success.
Develop account-specific marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and activation plans aligned with Comfrt’s brand standards.
Collaborate with retail partners on events, community initiatives, grand openings, and localized marketing opportunities.
Ensure a consistent and elevated Comfrt brand experience across all partner retail environments.
Experiential Marketing
Develop innovative retail experiences, events, and activations that deepen customer engagement and strengthen brand affinity.
Identify emerging retail and consumer trends to continuously evolve Comfrt’s in-person brand experience.
Partner with internal teams and external partners to execute high-impact experiential marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Growth, Social, CRM, Data & Insights, Merchandising, and Retail Operations teams to execute integrated retail marketing initiatives.
Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure successful execution of retail priorities.
Performance & Optimization
Define KPIs to measure retail marketing performance, including traffic, conversion, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue, assessing impact in-store and halo effect.
Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and performance data to optimize programs and improve business outcomes.
