What is Box

Box (NYSE: BOX) is the leader in Intelligent Content Management. Our platform enables organizations to fuel collaboration, manage the entire content lifecycle, secure critical content, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. Founded in 2005, Box simplifies work for leading global organizations, including JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Nationwide. Box is headquartered in Redwood City, California, with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Content powers how we work. It is the information flowing across teams, departments, and business processes every day. Our mission is to bring intelligence to content management and help customers transform workflows. At Box, you will help build the teams working at the front line of that change.

Why Box needs you

The competition for experienced Sales and Go To Market talent is intense. AI can help recruiting teams identify people whose experience appears relevant, but a list of names is only a starting point. The opportunity is to understand where the right talent is, find a credible way to reach them, and give them a reason to consider Box. You will bring the business context, creativity, and relationship skills that make early engagement relevant and human.

What you will do

  • Set the talent engagement strategy. Work with Sales and Go To Market leaders and Recruiters to understand hiring priorities, clarify the profile, and choose the best approach for each search. Focus your time on specialized, senior, or business-critical roles where market knowledge and personal engagement can change the outcome.
  • Build useful talent market insight. Map relevant talent pools across companies, communities, networks, and adjacent industries. Use recruiting tools and AI-assisted search to widen discovery, then assess whether the profiles surfaced are current, credible, and relevant to the role. Share what you learn about talent availability, skills, motivations, and barriers with the hiring team.
  • Create thoughtful ways into conversation. Develop candidate-specific approaches that explain why the role, team, or business challenge may be worth a conversation. Use direct outreach, employee and professional connections, referrals, communities, events, and other channels that fit the audience. Build relationships with high-priority talent over time, including people who may not be ready to move now.
  • Calibrate sourcing and outreach tools. Use AI and recruiting technology to support research, search, prioritization, and message preparation. Review samples of the results, test for relevance and quality, identify errors or patterns that could narrow or distort the pool, and adjust inputs and workflows. Keep human judgment in decisions about whom to contact and what to say; protect candidate information and follow Box policies.
  • Qualify interest and share context. Hold early conversations that explore the person’s experience, interests, and potential fit. Give an accurate picture of the work and Box, listen for what matters to the candidate, and pass useful context to the recruiter and hiring team with the candidate’s knowledge.
  • Partner through the hiring process. Work in close partnership with the GTM Recruiters, who coordinate the search and candidate progression. Provide a clear handoff and stay involved as needed to support engagement, answer market questions, and help the team address candidate concerns. Contribute to a respectful, timely candidate experience through offer and close.
  • Represent Box with care. Build authentic relationships with talent communities and represent Box at relevant events and professional forums. Tell the Box story accurately and connect people to the right opportunity without overpromising.

Who you are

  • You have 7 or more years of recruiting experience, including a strong record of finding and engaging in-demand talent and helping close successful hires.
  • You have recruited Sales talent in a technology company and understand the distinctions among Commercial, Enterprise, and other Go To Market roles. Experience in technical or broader Go To Market recruiting is useful.
