BidMachine Exchange – a fast-growing global programmatic exchange built for the future of in-app advertising.

BidMachine operates with a strong US foundation and an international presence, with teams across Warsaw, Barcelona, Parkland (FL), and remote experts around the world.

We combine deep AdTech expertise, proprietary technology, and a data-driven mindset to deliver transparency, performance, and efficiency in the mobile advertising ecosystem.

Why BidMachine?

At BidMachine, we are building more than an exchange — we are shaping the infrastructure that powers fair, efficient, and scalable in-app programmatic advertising.

Our mission is to create a high-performance marketplace where publishers maximize value and advertisers access premium inventory with full transparency and control.

We are proud of our technology, our ambitious vision, and our globally distributed team of talented professionals who continuously raise the bar in AdTech.

Here’s what we value, and what we hope you do too

Seek the Truth and Say It with Care

We find the truth together, and nobody owns it, the CEO included. Stories, perspectives and beliefs can be personal. Facts can’t.

Leverage Data to Build Product

Our decisions start from data. We build systems rather than one-off tasks, use AI agents in our daily work and automate whatever is manual. When numbers don’t match, we fix them.

We Work Together to Serve Others

No closed doors between teams. We share what we learn and win as one company first.

Insist on Higher Standards

We don’t settle for “good enough”. We question it and push for better.

Passionate Curiosity Fuels Perseverance

We ask “why”, take on ambiguous problems and keep going when they get hard.

Lean Startup Mentality: Start Small, Iterate Quickly

Think big, ship an MVP first and learn fast. No big-bang releases.

Ownership and Accountability

We work in small squads so each team owns its result end to end and has the freedom to get there. Go deep in your craft and wide enough to own the whole outcome. Escalate blockers early, admit mistakes, fix the damage and learn.

BidMachine is looking for a Head of Exchange Product & Operations to own the commercial and operational performance of its programmatic exchange. The role represents the exchange to the C-level leadership of its largest publishers and demand partners, runs exchange operations above agreed gross-profit margins, and is accountable for growing gross profit and gross profit per employee every quarter. It decides which projects get priority to move exchange performance, and has the authority to redirect the team's effort to get there. New-partner business development sits elsewhere; this role is about getting more out of the exchange and its most important relationships.

It is also a hands-on role at a senior level. The person in this seat writes the product vision for the exchange and executes on it directly, including through code or AI-assisted coding, and tests variations of the auction's components. Relationships with senior partners cannot be automated, and the role is built around them. Exchange operations can be partly automated, and this role is expected to build that automation itself rather than manage around its absence. Expect an environment that changes often and rewards people who stay curious and keep building after they have already succeeded.

Key Responsibilities

Own the top exchange relationships

  • Speak every week with the C-level leaders of the exchange's top publishers and demand partners.
  • Represent the exchange in those relationships, commercially and on product.

Run exchange operations above margin

  • Run exchange operations above agreed gross-profit margins while growing gross profit quarter on quarter.
  • Implement the exchange's operational framework in full.

Set priorities

  • Decide which projects will move exchange performance most, and in what order.
  • Redirect the team's effort to those priorities without needing sign-off.

Own the exchange product vision

  • Write the product requirements and vision for the exchange.
