IT & Infrastructure | The Enablers and Protectors

We are a 1,000-piece puzzle. Each of us is essential, interconnected, and intentionally designed. Together, we create something powerful: media that matters, growth that lasts, and a culture we are proud to build.

As part of our IT & Infrastructure team, The Enablers and Protectors, you build and safeguard the systems that keep our people connected and our business moving. You ensure the technology behind our work is secure, reliable, and scalable, empowering teams across the agency to collaborate, create, and deliver their best work. Your expertise helps turn complex technical challenges into seamless experiences, giving our people the tools and confidence to focus on what matters most.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Systems Administrator, you'll help manage, maintain, and strengthen the technology infrastructure that supports our people, operations, and client work. You'll work across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring our systems remain secure, efficient, and dependable.

Reporting to the Help Desk Supervisor, you'll take ownership of day-to-day systems administration, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and collaborate on infrastructure improvements that help our agency operate at its best. You'll also serve as a technical resource for the Help Desk team, sharing your knowledge and helping others grow their capabilities.

This is an opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, expand your ownership of critical systems, and grow toward a Senior Systems Administrator role.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and connectivity.
  • Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they disrupt business operations.
  • Use infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, CloudMon.ai, or Datadog to identify trends, investigate alerts, and support system reliability.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and improvements to strengthen reliability, performance, and scalability.

Cloud Platforms & Identity Management

  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, including user accounts, permissions, licensing, security settings, and collaboration tools.
  • Support AWS and Azure cloud environments, including provisioning, monitoring, resource management, and basic cost tracking.
  • Manage identity and access management systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Okta.
  • Support mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Jamf and Microsoft Intune to maintain secure and consistent device configurations.
  • Assist with user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes, ensuring appropriate security controls throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system administration processes through automation, standardization, and more effective use of technology.

Security, Compliance & Documentation

  • Implement and maintain system security practices, including endpoint protection, patch management, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support administration and monitoring of endpoint security tools, including CrowdStrike.
  • Assist in maintaining secure systems and protecting confidential client, campaign, and business information.
  • Support security reviews, remediation efforts, and ongoing improvements to the agency's technology environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, system procedures, troubleshooting guides, and disaster recovery processes.
