Electrification is the process of replacing fossil fuel appliances that run on gas or oil with all-electric upgrades for a cleaner way to power our lives.

At SPAN, we believe in

Enabling homes and vehicles powered by clean energy

Making electrification upgrades possible

Building more resilient homes with reliable backup

Designing a flexible and distributed electrical grid

The Role

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Senior Channel Marketer to own and accelerate our go‑to‑market strategy through distribution partners and installer networks. You’ll craft and execute marketing programs tailored to key residential channels—distribution, new home construction, solar and storage installers, HVAC and home services contractors, and electrical contractors—driving awareness, demand, network strength, sales enablement, and revenue growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to leverage their channel marketing expertise, deepen knowledge across channels with diverse business models, and help SPAN customers unlock a new, profitable category within their portfolio. Join SPAN and become a vital force in shaping a sustainable future, enabling electrification across diverse industries and applications.

Responsibilities

Develop Strategy & Plan Execution

Develop and refine channel marketing plans for distribution partners (electrical, solar, HVAC) and installer networks.

Segment and prioritize target verticals: custom/semi‑custom/production new home construction, solar and storage installers, HVAC/home services contractors, and electrical contractors.

Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Support to align messaging, refine value propositions. Translate technical features and capabilities to audience-specific value propositions and campaigns.

Grow and strengthen the network of SPAN Authorized Installers across verticals, increasing installs per member and member engagement.

Embrace new or leading-edge programs, processes, or products that positively impact the organization and its customers, including AI.

Activate and Collaborate with Partners

Own the SPAN Installer and SPAN Accelerate programs to get new installer teams onboarded, productive, and retained. Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to define or refine the offerings and launch.

Activate the SPAN Expand program for stocking distributors to deepen engagement with promotions, co-marketing and incentives.

Create and execute partner marketing initiatives with Eaton, ChargePoint and others to meet aggressive sales growth goals.

Develop sales‑enablement toolkits: slide decks, ROI calculators, specification sheets, and sales team training materials.

Design and implement co‑marketing campaigns (email, digital ads, events, collateral) with/for distributors and installation partners.

Produce on brand, market-specific content: case studies, white papers, application notes, video testimonials, and blog posts featuring utilities, homebuilders, and installer success stories.

Execute targeted lead‑gen programs (webinars, tradeshows, territory-based roadshows) in collaboration with channel partners.

Create train-the-trainer content for distributor, installer and internal sales teams.

Build and adapt optimized campaigns for lead generation, partner microsites, and distribution catalog integrations in coordination with internal teams and agencies.

Lead with Data

Define KPIs (demand gen performance, lead pass metrics, content engagement, and more) and deliver monthly performance reports.

Participate with Sales in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key distributors and installer network partners to optimize joint initiatives.
