Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Director, Business Operations to run Rowan’s external governance program. This person will be the central point for how Rowan prepares for and runs meetings with its equity sponsors and their representatives on Rowan's board (members), including quarterly member meetings and the regular twice-monthly connects. They will own the calendar, the materials and the follow-through, so every meeting gets timely, high-quality content and ends with clear decisions.

The role also owns Rowan’s record of member approvals: the approvals data set, the reporting built on it, and the process and standards behind it. They will use that approval data to lead reviews of Rowan’s Delegation of Authority, the policy that sets who can approve what and at what level, and recommend changes as the business grows.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator who brings structure to complex, cross-functional work. They are comfortable with senior leaders and equity sponsors, write and edit with precision, work easily with data, and improve the process every cycle. Governance experience is a plus. Judgment, rigor and the ability to make a process run well at scale matter more.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% for equity sponsor meetings, company gatherings and other key meetings.

Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)

Compensation: $175K - $215K (Offers Bonus)

Essential Responsibilities

Equity Sponsor Meetings and Materials

Own the annual calendar for Rowan’s equity sponsor governance meetings, including quarterly member meetings and twice-monthly connects

Partner across Business Operations, Investor Relations and Rowan functions to define meeting agendas, content, track owners and deadline

Run the materials process from request to final package: templates, timelines, review cycles, version control and distribution

Hold a high bar on quality. Check every package for accuracy, consistent numbers and dates across pages, and a clear ask on each decision item

Coach presenters and content owners across Rowan on what members need to see to make a decision

Capture decisions and action items after each meeting and track them to close.

Partner with the lead for Rowan’s internal approvals committee so items move cleanly from internal review to member approval

Approvals Reporting and Delegation of Authority

Own the register of member approvals and resolutions: data standards, numbering, entry, quality checks and reconciliation to approved amounts

Build and run reporting on approval activity, such as volumes, dollars by category and project, cycle times, and items that miss the planned meeting, using Smartsheet and Power BI

Use approval data to lead periodic reviews of the Delegation of Authority. Recommend threshold and policy changes, and work with Legal and Finance to put them in place

Work with Legal, Finance and Accounting so approvals connect cleanly to contracting, finance setup and purchasing
