The Redis Cloud Operations team is hiring for a Site Reliability Engineer role, offering you the chance to work on large-scale systems and support our valued customers. In this global role, you'll participate in the monitoring, operation, and management of a Redis managed service at one of the world’s largest cloud providers. If you have a passion for tackling technical challenges on a global scale, this position is perfect for you. ### What You’ll Do Own and manage production incidents impacting Redis Enterprise clusters in Azure cloud Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, driving root cause analysis and resolution Partner with R&D and Product teams to resolve bugs, influence product improvements through operational insights, and drive long-term reliability enhancements Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation in a global team (follow-the-sun model) Design and develop code-driven automation tools, internal platforms, and data workflows leveraging cloud services and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude) to streamline operations, enhance incident analysis, and improve visibility into production systems. Build and maintain services to enhance incident management, reporting, and fleet-level insights. Enhance observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor) by building AI-driven systems for data enrichment, anomaly detection, and automated troubleshooting. Continuously enhance incident response processes and overall system reliability at scale ### What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 4+ years in SRE, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering Proven experience troubleshooting production systems at scale, including hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong Linux/Unix systems knowledge Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Azure Data Explorer) and analyzing telemetry data using KQL. Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and Bash; experience with C# is a plus Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation, improve automation workflows, and enhance operational tooling. Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD platforms (Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for large-scale distributed systems Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable automation solutions in a production environment ### Nice to Have Familiarity with Redis or other NoSQL databases Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) Cloud and Linux certifications Experience with C# and other programming languages.
