Why Numeric

Every business runs on accounting, but the systems underneath it were built for a different era. Today’s ERPs don’t store a company’s financial data. They store a diluted copy of it. Every contract, lease, and invoice gets flattened into a journal entry, and the context that made it meaningful is thrown away. That’s why accounting teams spend every month re-checking numbers, stitching together spreadsheets, and waiting on engineering, and why AI struggles to do real accounting work. Accounting doesn’t have a reporting problem. It has a data problem.

Enter Numeric: the data platform finance teams run on. We started with the month-end close, where the data problem hurts most, and hundreds of finance teams now run their close on Numeric. That work led us to rebuild the system of record itself. In September 2026 we launched the Financial Data Platform (FDP), a platform built for the agent era. Instead of a journal entry, the real business object enters the system and the accounting is derived from it. Every number is traceable to its source, reporting works on any dimension, and accountants and AI agents finally have enough context to work together. While others bolted AI features onto the old data model, we built a new one.

We have a growing base of customers who love our product, including Anthropic, Plaid, Brex, Betterment, Wealthfront, and Asana. We’ve raised $89M from top-tier investors including IVP, Menlo Ventures, Founders Fund, and 8VC, along with founders and executives from Ramp, Segment, and other category-defining companies. We’re in-person, with teams in New York, San Francisco, and London, and we just shipped the product that will define our next decade. There’s never been a better time to join.

About This Role

You’ll be the first person at Numeric dedicated solely to our accounting and advisory partners. These are the accounting firms, systems integrators (SIs), and value-added resellers (VARs) that recommend, implement, and build services around Numeric. These partnerships center around the entire Numeric product suite: Close Management, Reporting & Analytics, Cash Management, Billing & Revenue, and the Financial Data Platform. You’ll own these relationships end to end. That includes recruiting new firms, building deep relationships, and turning those relationships into revenue.

What you’ll do

Build the playbook. You’ll be the first person to focus solely on accounting advisory partnerships. You’ll be setting the standard.

Own and grow our partner portfolio. Ownership of a portfolio of our top accounting and advisory firms.

Source new partners. Identify national and regional accounting firms, system integrators (SIs), and boutique consulting shops. Own the partner sales process from end-to-end: from origination through to close and activation.

Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. Build targeted co-selling motions with partner practice leads and collaborate closely with Sales to close revenue.

Host events and joint workshops with partners. Including leading the company’s presence at accounting and technology conferences

Structure commercial arrangements. Balancing a strategic and relationship driven approach to design partnerships that are fair and mutually incentivizing.

What we’re looking for

3+ years in partnerships, alliances, or channel roles at a B2B software company

Strong communication skills and executive presence, with experience leading large group presentations

Experience managing relationships with accounting and advisory firms, SIs, or VARs, ideally in the finance, accounting, or ERP software ecosystem

Entrepreneurial spirit with an excitement about building something from zero to one

Willingness to travel for partner meetings, events, and onsite sessions (~25%)

Nice to have

Accounting background in a similar fintech company or at an advisory / audit firm

Existing relationships with NetSuite Solution Providers and Alliance Partners, or other mid-market ERP partner networks

Experience building a partner program from scratch
