Hi, Future Homie!

At Homebase, you’ll join a team that’s bold, fast-moving, and obsessed with helping small businesses thrive. We build with empathy, act with urgency, and take big swings that drive real-world impact. Here, every Homie shows up to raise the bar, support one another, and celebrate wins as a team.

We’re not just building an app—we’re building unstoppable teams. So what do you say, are you in?

📍Your Impact Starts Here

As our Director of Product Marketing, you will own how Homebase wins small business owners. That means the story we tell, how we price and package, which industries we go after, and what sales and support say on every call. Homebase has grown from a suite of tools for hourly teams into AI that takes care of an owner's least favorite work for them. More than 150,000 businesses already run on it. Most owners who would love Homebase have never heard of us, and your work decides how fast that changes.

You will report to our CMO, lead our Product Marketing team, and work daily with Growth, Creative, Product, Sales, and Support. Every campaign, landing page, sales script, and support conversation starts from what your team learns and builds.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll write the first draft of the narrative yourself and run the team with AI built into its work.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role

The Homebase story

Own the company narrative and the testing system behind it. New messages go into market with frequent testing and are judged on conversion.

Make sure Growth, Creative, Sales, Support, Product, and PR tell one story with the outcome owners care about up front and our product as the proof.

Pricing and packaging

Own how we price and package Homebase so an owner understands it in seconds, and it grows revenue per customer.

Ship pricing and packaging changes, and measure each one on conversion and revenue.

Industry go-to-market

Use data to choose the industries we go after first, then run a cross-functional pod to execute vertical growth campaigns.

Build the kit every channel runs on, including owner insights, competitor maps, ad and landing page messaging, creator briefs, and Sales and Support scripts.

Sales, support, and customer growth

Give Sales and Support the scripts, plays, bundles, and offers they use on every call, and refresh them regularly from what reps hear and why deals are lost.

Products and customer insight

Partner with Product so Team App, Payroll, Cash Out, and Hiring are positioned to win with the story carried through sign-up, trial, and an owner's first 30 days.

Build a customer insight engine with regular owner conversations, a panel you can hear from in days, and a running read on the market.

Team leadership

Decide how the team is organized and what it works on each quarter, and say no to work that doesn't move revenue.

Grow the people on your team into bigger roles, and run the team on the same weekly cadence as Growth with AI built into research, briefs, testing, and analysis.

What success looks like

In your first 90 days, you've talked with dozens of owners and our new narrative and first industry kits are running in market. Your team has a clear plan for the next two quarters.

By month 6, you know within two weeks which message is winning, and industry campaigns are beating general ones. Your first pricing and packaging changes are live and measured.

By month 12, Sales and Support run your plays on their calls, and revenue per customer is growing. Growth and Creative start new campaigns from your team's story and owner insight.

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

8+ years in Product Marketing or go-to-market roles. You have led a team of Product Marketers and grown people into bigger roles.

You have built a company narrative from customer insight and got a leadership team with strong views behind it. You can show what it did to growth once it shipped.

You have owned pricing and packaging decisions with real data behind them and a measurable result on revenue or conversion.
