## Description (the employer's text)

### About Fazeshift

Fazeshift builds AI agents that run accounts receivable for finance teams. Our agents connect to the ERP, CRM, email and payment systems a company already uses, then handle invoicing, payment reconciliation, collections outreach and system updates — automating more than 90% of manual AR work and cutting days sales outstanding.

We're based in San Francisco and backed by F-Prime, Gradient, Y Combinator and others, with $22M raised to date (PYMNTS). Customers include Sigma Computing, Snyk, Meter and Clipboard Health, and revenue grew 12x over the past year.

### The role

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first conversation many CFOs, controllers and AR leaders have with Fazeshift. You'll research target accounts, start conversations through outbound and inbound channels, and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This is an early go-to-market seat at a fast-growing company. You'll help shape our outbound playbook and messaging, work closely with founders and AEs, and have a clear path into a closing role.

Location: San Francisco, in office · Reports to: Business Development Manager · Type: Full-time

### What you'll do

Prospect into mid-market and enterprise finance teams — CFOs, VPs of Finance, controllers and AR managers — through email, phone, LinkedIn and events

Research accounts and personas to write sharp, relevant outreach about AR pain: slow collections, high DSO, manual reconciliation

Respond quickly to inbound leads and qualify them on need, timing, authority and fit

Book discovery meetings for Account Executives and hand off clean context on every opportunity

Build and iterate on sequences, testing messaging and reporting what converts

Keep HubSpot accurate and up to date on activity, pipeline and notes

Share market feedback with product and marketing to sharpen our positioning

### What we're looking for

1–2 years in a quota-carrying SDR/BDR role, ideally B2B SaaS

A track record of hitting or beating meeting and pipeline targets

Clear, concise writing and confidence on cold calls

Curiosity about how finance teams work, and the ability to speak credibly to senior finance buyers

Comfort with a high-volume, fast-changing startup environment — you take feedback and adjust quickly

Organized and data-driven: you track your numbers and know what's working

### Nice to have

Experience selling to finance, accounting or fintech buyers

Familiarity with ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) or billing tools

Experience at an early-stage or YC startup

Hands-on with HubSpot, Apollo, Clay or similar prospecting tools

### Compensation and benefits

Competitive compensation, matching the market rate in the Bay Area

Meaningful equity in a fast-growing, venture-backed company

Health, dental and vision coverage

401k Matching

Flexible Time Off
