Turn manuals, tickets and work orders into trusted knowledge that powers chat and text experiences, with voice and video on the roadmap. Production AI agents. Build multi-step agents that use tools and APIs, handle failures gracefully, and balance reliability, speed and cost. Measurable AI. Build automated evals, define success metrics, and catch regressions before they reach production. Real business problems. Understand customer workflows, find what's worth automating, and deliver it with product and customer-facing teams. Security by design. Protect customer data, prevent cross-customer exposure and prompt injection, and keep agent tool use safe. How we build. Share what works, build tools and agents the team adopts, and help raise the bar for AI-native engineering. Outcomes, not just code. Drive solutions from design to production, and keep improving them once they're live. ### Requirements A hands-on developer with a steep growth curve. Ideally 5+ years of development experience, but what you can build matters more than how long you've been building. AI-native in practice. AI is part of how you plan, build, test and review, and you know when its output isn't good enough. Agents in production. You've built agents that call tools and APIs, and you know what it takes to keep them reliable, fast and affordable. You measure AI quality. You've built evals, defined success metrics and used them to decide what ships. Real problems, real results. You've turned a complex workflow into an AI-powered solution and can show measurable impact. Solid backend engineering. Production services and pipelines in Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, Java or similar. Ownership and clear communication. You take initiative, see things through to production, and explain AI behaviour clearly to product, CS and customers. ### Nice to have RAG, data ingestion, retrieval and reranking. A security background: secure coding, OWASP (including the LLM Top 10), threat modelling. LLM data pipelines: labelling, classification or extraction at scale. Experience in DevOps, QA, data or support roles alongside development.
